This distinction underscores GreenWood’s consistent commitment to safety excellence and its ability to deliver strong performance year after year on this project.

Central to this achievement is GreenWood’s “Always Aware” safety program, which is seamlessly aligned with Merck’s rigorous safety standards. Together, these efforts foster a proactive safety culture and an exceptionally secure work environment for every employee on site.

The Highwire Safety Assessment reviews a company’s historic safety performance and current safety management systems. The program includes a thorough, objective and consistent evaluation of company performance so that clients and contractors can identify, monitor, and manage risk smarter. The results provide a strong indicator of how a contractor values safety and serves a reliable predictor of future performance.

The award is presented to companies that demonstrate exceptional overall safety results, as measured by key performance indicators including workers’ compensation policy loss ratio, workers’ compensation experience modification rate (EMR), and BLS/DART/OSHA recordable incident rates.

This marks the 16th consecutive year GreenWood has received the award—an achievement that underscores the company’s long-standing commitment to maintaining a strong safety culture and protecting the well-being of its workforce.
