GreenWood Attends Affinity Risk Control Workshop

Recently, Ashlyn Vickers, Safety Coordinator for GreenWood, represented the company at the National Safety Council (NSC) Congress & Expo held in Denver, Colorado. Our affiliate group, Affinity Insurance, joined NSC this fall rather than holding a separate risk workshop as they have been known to do.

GreenWood remains committed to staying informed about the latest technologies, processes, and developments within the safety sector by participating in such industry events. The knowledge and connections gained through educational forums and networking support our ongoing efforts to strengthen the “Always Aware” safety program.

Through our association with Captive Resources (CRI), we recently completed a successful risk control assessment which is a structured process for evaluating, prioritizing, and mitigating potential safety risks. We are proud to announce that we achieved an overall score of 99.82, ranking us as having one of the safest programs in the industry.

The assessment process involves an in-depth review of risk control policies and procedures compared to industry best practices. The risk control assessment helps identify strength and improvement opportunities that are used to create action plans that improve our overall best-in-class “always aware” safety program. This is one of the many ways we make GreenWood a safe place to work!
