GreenWood, Inc., an integrated maintenance, construction and workforce solutions provider, announces that Kevin Crittendon, Director of Continuous Improvement, has been elected to serve as Vice Chair of the Carolinas Chapter for the Society of Maintenance and Reliability Professionals (SMRP). SMRP is a nonprofit professional society formed by practitioners to advance the reliability, maintenance and physical asset management industry. SMRP provides value for professionals, individual practitioners and companies who are committed to sustaining best practices within their industries.

In his role, Kevin will be responsible for working alongside the Chair to promote excellence in maintenance and reliability education for people, production and quality processes to improve the work environment. Additionally, Kevin will facilitate information exchange through the SMRP network while providing assistance and guidance to those seeking the Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) designation.

As Director of Continuous Improvement at GreenWood, Inc., Crittendon holds responsibility for maintenance and business process improvements, customer relationship support, standardization of metrics and reporting, development of operational tools, and support for business development efforts. His background includes roles involving Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Lean/Six Sigma, Cellular Manufacturing and Kaizen (continuous improvement).
