22,500 Pounds of Food Donated by GreenWood Volunteers
For 9 weeks during the early spring, GreenWood volunteer drivers delivered 22,500 pounds of food to the United Food Operation distribution center located in the South Charleston, West Virginia area. Through this organization, food collected through donations and orders with ALDI are distributed from food banks in the local area. United Food Operation, Inc. is an all-volunteer non-profit group organized to fight hunger in the Kanawha Valley where 12 community food pantries are supplied. GreenWood considers it a privilege to participate in this worthy cause.
